What Boardpane sends, and to whom

• Azure DevOps (dev.azure.com / *.visualstudio.com): the API calls needed to list, read and update your work items and pull requests, authenticated with your Microsoft sign-in or the PAT you paste. This is between you and Microsoft.
• Polar (api.polar.sh): if you enter a Pro licence key, the key is sent to Polar to check it is valid. Nothing else is sent. The result is cached locally so this happens at most about once a day.

That is the whole list. Boardpane has no server of its own, sends no telemetry or crash reports, and sets no cookies. We cannot see your work items, code, comments or credentials.

What is stored on your machine

Your PAT (if you use one) and your licence key are stored in VS Code's secret storage. Your chosen organisation and project are stored in VS Code's settings.

When you buy Pro

Polar collects your email and payment details to process the purchase and email your key. We see your email address and the order in the Polar dashboard so we can support and refund you. We do not add you to a mailing list.

This website

boardpane.com is static, hosted on Vercel, with no analytics and no cookies.
